The reprint from the most recent "Retiree Update", shown below, indicates some of the breadth of National Grid's acquisitions and also the virtual departure from the Keyspan name and style.

In answer to the many telephone inquiries I received, subsequent to this latest announcement, I continued to advise that this Website is, and was, about LILCO, which was replaced by Keyspan Energy (subsequently bought out by National Grid) ......we have no information or interest in any of the other National Grid properties and hence cannot advise concerning current affairs.

I am proud of the fact that this website is INDEPENDANTLY OPERATED and has never received any support financial, or otherwise, from Keyspan, "Southern Division", or any other source; I will continue to maintain this site online as long as there is interest by any surviving LILCO comrades or while there may be some other service which I can render to my fellow retirees.
